History of Turning Pages
The Greater Columbia Literacy Council was founded in 1968 in Columbia, South Carolina. Later transitioning into what we now know as Turning Pages, the mission of the organization to offer free, one-on-one instruction for adult learners looking to improve their skills in reading, math, and English language proficiency, largely remains the same.
